Here are a few recent updates to help you improve compliance and simplify your Raken workflows.
New time tracking options
Take advantage of recent time tracking updates to improve break compliance, simplify equipment tracking, and speed up editing.
Better view and enforce break compliance
More easily identify and prevent compliance risks with new settings, including: configurable break alerts, clock-in lockouts and alerts for short or missed breaks, and improved real-time visibility into flagged non-compliance.

Track equipment on time cards
Now, you can track equipment directly on time cards so usage can more easily be tied to specific shifts. Here’s how it works: supervisors enter equipment usage on time cards, which automatically generates equipment logs that stay attached to time data. You can also add equipment cost codes so costs can be tracked separately from labor if needed.
And we’re not done yet—soon, you’ll be able to also track equipment usage via our time clock and kiosk features. That way workers can more easily enter equipment usage details themselves.
Make bulk edits on time cards
You can now edit multiple time cards on the review and edit screens from within your projects—up to 50 entries at a time.
Additional options to edit entries in bulk or in-line are coming to more Raken time pages soon.
Timesheets is now entries
Next month the company-level Timesheets page will retire and be replaced by Entries, which is currently available in the Time tab in the Raken web app.
The Entries view has the same functionality as Timesheets, but with added improvements that make it much easier to audit and edit time cards.
Create document folder templates
Our new document folder templates make organization easier than ever. You can ensure folder consistency on every project for commonly-used documents like safety manuals or company policies by templating those structures once at the company level.
After that, every newly created project starts with those folders and files already in place. No manual setup required.
Require survey questions
Now, administrators are able to require completion of individual survey questions before sign-off, effectively eliminating silent skipping.
Add rich text formatting
Raken now supports rich text formatting. That means you can boost readability for your daily reports, field notes, time cards, and other PDFs with bold, italic, underline, or strikethrough formats.
Coming soon: Change orders
We’re about to add an exciting new feature that will simplify and streamline your change orders so you can minimize downtime on the jobsite.
With this tool, you’ll be able to build, share, collaborate, and track change orders so nothing falls through the cracks and you can keep projects moving along.
