To say a lot happened in 2025 would be an understatement. It was both an exciting and tumultuous year for the construction industry, one that made it abundantly clear how important it is for contractors and subcontractors alike to adapt to changing times.

Raken rose to meet that challenge, unveiling new and updated features plus new integrations that enable companies to scale and expand. And there’s even more to come.

Your all-in-one tool for the field

We spent most of this year expanding our capabilities as an all-in-one field management tool that allows you to streamline critical workflows so you can focus on what matters most.

We pride ourselves on simplifying end-to-end field workflows. And that’s even more true now with our new features and enhancements.

New features

These new tools are great additions to your existing digital toolbelt. From better communication and efficiency to safety, here’s what’s new:

Digital RFIs

Add new RFI button.

Now, you can keep projects on track with our easy tool that enables you to create, share, and track RFIs. With this new feature, you can build RFIs on our web and mobile apps, capture any relevant details with photos and drawings, track RFI progress to view status, responses, and history, and run reports for trend analysis.

You’re also able to set automatic notifications that go out to employees and partners reminding them to respond to RFIs. Recipients receive an email that allows them to quickly review and reply to RFIs in our convenient guest mode.

Resource scheduling

Raken resource scheduling tools.

We’ve made it a lot easier for you to schedule and assign shifts for workers and manage teams as a whole. Our new resource scheduling capabilities allow you to easily schedule one-off and recurring shifts, view projects and employees in real time on a calendar, and automatically notify employees when a shift is scheduled.

You can also filter views by employee, group, project, or cost code to simplify things and make scheduling easier. No more scheduling conflicts, ballooning workforce costs, or unnecessary delays.

OSHA submit

Raken OSHA ITA integration.

End-of-year OSHA submissions don’t have to be the hassle they used to be with our new OSHA Submit integration. It’s as easy as connecting Raken with your OSHA Injury Tracking Application account, recording incidents throughout the year with Raken’s incident reporting tool, and then automatically submitting injury and illness data to OSHA.

Feature updates

In addition to the new features we unveiled this year, we also made several updates to our existing features to further improve the user experience.

Time tracking enhancements

My Time button from Raken time tracking app.

We’ve significantly improved our time tracking feature so you can gather more accurate payroll data and get employees paid accurately and on time.

First, we’ve added more company-wide controls and consistency for payroll policies and compliance. You can set employee and project-specific policies for overtime, breaks, and more. And our geofencing capability helps you verify employees are where they need to be when they clock in and out.

We've also made time management easier for employees and supervisors with enhanced visibility and flexibility on web and mobile.

New answer types for checklists

Raken checklist answer types.

Our checklists are even more customizable since we added new answer types, including number, date, time, star rating, and table, giving you greater flexibility and better responses.

Progress tracking

Raken progress tracking options.

We’ve made continuing enhancements to improve visibility for progress tracking, including new production reports to track efficiency against budgets and real-time activity view flexibility that allows you to toggle between card view and table view.

New integrations

Our integrations help complete our field management platform by helping you ensure all your bases are covered. Here are a few new ones we added in 2025:

QuickBooks Desktop

Intuit QuickBooks logo.

Now, you can connect Raken with QuickBooks Desktop to eliminate manual data entry and reduce payroll errors. Just easily collect and enter time in Raken, sync that data to QuickBooks, and get your teams paid on time.

ComputerEase API

Deltek ComputerEase logo.

We set up a direct API integration with Deltek ComputerEase to make it easier to sync time cards, cost codes, and other data for faster payroll processing.

CMiC

CMiC logo.

Our new integration with CMiC streamlines job costing and payroll by making it easy to sync crucial project data. Raken's flexible time entry options help you collect accurate hours, while CMiC helps simplify cost codes and project data. No more double entry.

Stay tuned:

We have even more features coming down the pipeline, and they have one big thing in common: AI.

You’ll be able to increase visibility and keep projects on track with greater efficiency thanks to upcoming AI daily report summaries that can quickly sum up the important details of what work was performed on the jobsite in a given day. We’re also planning to add an AI photo tagging feature that will save you time and increase productivity.

Stick around for more news on those features and more as we blaze ahead into 2026!
