Raken can make submitting your yearly injury and illness data to OSHA as easy as clicking a button.

Recording incidents in Raken
In order to meet your electronic submission requirements through our OSHA ITA integration, you’ll need to use Raken to record incidents throughout the year.
Quickly capture the details of incidents on mobile or web, add photos and attachments, and report on incident data to quickly identify and resolve recurring issues.

Connect the integration
To connect Raken with OSHA’s ITA, you’ll first need to make sure you have an ITA account. If you don’t already have one, you can find instructions for creating one on OSHA’s website.
Once you have an ITA account, log in here. Then:
Click the Navigation Menu button
Verify that you have created an Establishment that corresponds to the business you record Incident data for in Raken
Select the option titled See API Token
You’ll need to record this token to add to your Raken account in the following steps:
Log into our web app
Select Company from the lefthand navigation
Select Integrations from the submenu that appears
From our integration options, select the OSHA Submit
Click the + Connect button found in the top right corner of the page
Enter the API Token you recorded from your ITA account
Select the Establishment for which you would like to submit injury and illness data
Click Authorize Connection
Verify your submission settings
Before you submit your incident data, verify your submission settings in Raken:
Select Company from the lefthand navigation
Select Incidents from the submenu, then choose Submission settings from the dropdown
Verify that the details match your linked Establishment and then add in your Average annual employees and Total hours worked for the year you wish to submit data for
Submit your data to OSHA
Once your details are verified, you can submit your data to OSHA from our web app.
In Raken’s web app, navigate to Company > Incidents > All incidents
Click the orange Submit to OSHA button in the top right corner of the page
Follow the steps shown in the Submit to OSHA workflow
Once verified, your data will be sent directly to the ITA, and you’ll receive a confirmation email from OSHA
You’ll save time and avoid the hassle of having to manage your yearly reports in multiple systems.
You can also review your past submissions by visiting Company > Incidents > Submitted to OSHA.
