You can:
Automatically flag employees who leave the jobsite when clocked in, perform an action outside the project radius, or forget to clock out
Send push notifications to remind employees to clock in or out based on location
Prevent interactions with the time clock outside the project radius

Enable geofencing

To get started, log into Raken’s web app. Then, select Company from the left navigation.
From the drop down menu, select Time Settings > Policies.
On this page:
Click the Manage policies button in the top right corner
Choose the policy you would like to enable geofencing rules
From this screen, select Settings from the options on the left side of the page
Scroll to the Geofencing section
Choose which features to enable:
Off-site flagging - Flag employees who leave the project radius while on the clock
Location based reminders - Remind employees to interact with the time clock when they come or go from the job site
On site verification - Prevent employees from clocking in outside the project radius
Click the orange Save button in the top right corner of the page.
Once saved, your enabled geonfencing features will apply to all employees who are assigned to that time policy.

Set a project radius

Before geofencing will work for a project, you’ll need to set a project radius.
To do so, log into our web app and click on the Projects tab in the left navigation. Select the correct project and:
Click Settings from the project menu
Choose General from the drop down options
On this screen, make sure a location and street address is added for the project
After the street address is added, click the orange Save button when done
Next, from the tabs at the top of the page, select Project Radius
Use the slider to adjust and set a project radius.
When finished click the Save button found at the top right corner of the page.
View time clock status on your project map

Access your project map to see exactly where your employees are when they’re logging hours.
Click on the Projects tab
Select your project
Click Production from the project menu
Choose Map from the drop down menu
You should see your project map, with a list of employees on the right-hand side.
Click each employee’s name to see when and where they clocked in or out, or took other time clock actions. You can also review their locations using pins on the map. Events that occur outside of the set project radius will appear in red.
Using the tabs across the top of the project map, adjust your view based on date or filter by the following criteria:
Time clock status
Event types
Employees
Event origin
Violations
Events with no GPS location
Review flags
You can easily review any geofencing flags or other time card violations right within our web app by selecting Time > Review > Issues. Use the options at the top of your screen to filter and organize data by pay period, date range, and other criteria, and click on a time card entry to display additional context regarding the violation.
You can also organize all time card violations into a report with the following steps:
Click on Projects in the left navigation
Click the blue Reports button in the top right
Select the Time card violations option from the drop down menu
Add your specifications and recipients
Click the orange Send button
Your report will be delivered by email.
