What Documents Can You Store in Raken?

You can store project documents right in Raken to make sure your teams have access to the files they need from the field or office. 

Learn what kinds of documents you can upload, how to create custom folders, and how to add markup for more efficient communication.

How to access document storage 

Raken document storage feature mobile and web screens.

Everyone with access to a project can view and edit documents. To upload a new document:

  1. Log into Raken’s web or mobile app and select your project

    1. On web, select Documents from the project menu on the left hand side of your screen

    2. On mobile, tap Documents in your Project Tools

  2. Click or tap the orange + button to upload the document from your device

What file types are supported?

Raken supports:

  • PDF

  • DOC

  • DOCX

  • JPG

  • JPEG

  • PNG

  • HEIC

  • DXF

  • DWG

  • KML

  • KMZ

  • PPT

  • PPTX

  • TPX

  • XLS

  • XLSX

Individual files can be up to 250 MB in size.

Create folders and filter results

Raken create a new document folder.

Organize project documents in custom folders for better organization.

Create new folders by clicking the orange + button on both web and mobile. Add folders for Plans, Permits, Drawings, Submittals, Change Orders, and other categories of documentation to best meet your needs.

Filter your list of documents by file type, date created, and uploader to more easily find what you need.

Add markup

Click or tap on each document to open it. You can download documents individually or in bulk. 

You can also add markup to PDFs, including text, drawings, and comments.
