Quarterly Update: New Ways to Collaborate and Improve Visibility

Q3 2022 Product Updates.

This quarter, Raken unveiled our brand new messaging feature and introduced several integrations that save time and improve jobsite visibility.

What’s New?

1. Keep project communications in one app

Stop the noise and uncrowd your inbox. With our latest feature, you can:

  • Send direct messages through the Raken app

  • Create group channels and threads

  • Search conversation histories

  • Share photos, videos, and files

Raken messaging helps your field and office teams connect on the go and minimizes the need for separate phone calls, texts, and emails.

2. Integrate with QuickBooks Online

Raken’s new accounting integration quickly shares time card data with QuickBooks Online. Streamline payroll processing and reduce errors caused by miscommunications or duplicate data entry.

3. Sync Raken with Viewpoint Spectrum

Customers who use Viewpoint Spectrum for accounting also got their own Raken integration this quarter. This webinar explains how data is synced between both systems to save time and improve accuracy.

4. Monitor progress in real-time with EarthCam

Can’t be in the field each day? Our integration with EarthCam live camera technology gives you the best visibility yet. No matter where you are, access real-time video feeds of the jobsite through the Rake Company Dashboard.

5. Get better data functionality

We've continued to expand our public facing API to pull more of your field data from Raken. This helps customers build custom integrations with their internal systems, BI tools, and other solutions we don't yet integrate with. This quarter, we added: projects and employees, safety, and production data.

1. Improved time tracking features

We heard your feedback, and are making some additional changes to our new time card updates from earlier this year—making it even easier to enter time, create custom pay types, and set up overtime rules. We’ve rolled some out already.

2. Integrated 360° visibility

We’re developing an integration with Holobuilder that pairs Raken’s advance reporting with 360° photo technology.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a 360° photo is priceless. When this integration releases, you’ll be able to monitor the jobsite in detail without leaving the office.

3. Worker kiosk app

We can’t wait to show you Raken Kiosk, a new way to track time in the field on a single device. With this upcoming feature, you can standardize the way your crew logs hours worked, including breaks.
