Raken Quarterly Update Q1 2024.

We hit the ground running in 2024, with multiple new features and a new integration. From updated forms, groups, and certifications to enhanced jobsite visibility, here’s what’s new at Raken.

Improve project visibility with DroneDeploy

Raken and DroneDeploy construction integration.

Raken enables you to quickly collect detailed field data, while DroneDeploy gives you a birds-eye view of what’s happening on the jobsite with powerful reality capture technology. With our new integration, you can easily access DroneDeploy’s visual data directly within our app.

By combining these two tools, you get a more complete picture of project progress. That means better planning and less risk.

Track activity by group

Now you can easily create, manage, and report on groups of workers at the company level. You can add groups by class (including crews, departments, divisions, region, trade, and union) and get group-specific insights.

Manage worker certifications

Raken construction certification tracking.

Tracking the certifications obtained by your team members or crew is easy with Raken’s certification management tool. We've recently added the ability to create custom certification types, and generate automated reports including certification expiration dates, for even better tracking and organization.

We put together a helpful guide to show you how to manage worker certifications in Raken. It’s a simple process, but goes a long way toward improving workforce management.

Create form templates to use across projects

Raken forms tool.

We further enhanced our forms feature to make document management more efficient. Uploading documents to Raken has always been easy, and users can quickly share, edit, and annotate forms on web and mobile.

Now you can also edit and save your existing forms as digital templates, which can be used across projects. Save time, improve compliance and ditch the manual paperwork.

To help you get started using your own forms, here are the top 10 user forms uploaded in Raken.

Android usability updates

We also recently updated our mobile layout for Android devices to provide an improved user experience and better align with native Android design.

Coming soon

It's still early in the year, and we have more exciting updates planned. Soon, you'll be able to add custom watermarks to photos captured on the jobsite, including your company name and logo, project name, timestamp, GPS coordinates, location, and more.

You’ll also want to keep an eye out for updates on AI photo identification and verification questions for Raken's mobile time clock and kiosk. These enhancements will reduce buddy punching and increase compliance on the jobsite.

Finally, OSHA compliance will get easier with our upcoming incident report capabilities. As with other forms of Raken documentation, you’ll be able to include jobsite data like classifications, witness statements, and photos.
