2021 Raken Recap.
Raken Recap 2021.

2021 was an interesting year for construction. Despite supply chain issues—and increasing labor shortages—the number of projects and developments across the country has continued to grow. And demand for good construction technology is high.

To those who build: Thank you. Thank you for letting us empower your teams. We’re proud to support you in all your projects.

So before 2021 ends, let’s reflect on what we accomplished together.

12 of our favorite moments from 2021

1. Winning a Stevie Award for Customer Service.

We were thrilled to win a 2021 Silver Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year! Our support team is always quick and thorough when it comes to helping customers. And we’re proud that their hard work is being recognized.

2. Meeting you at trade shows, like NECA 2021.

Trade shows are a fun way to connect with our community (like you) in person. The pandemic slowed things down, but we were grateful to be at NECA 2021 and the 2021 TUG National Users Conference.

Next up: World of Concrete 2022. Get discounted passes for WOC on us.

3. Enhancing our Checklists.

To help you get even more accurate field data, we added two new features to Checklists: mandatory questions and multi-choice answer types. Both make it easier to hold everyone accountable—while speeding up the process for crews.

4. Integrating with Foundation.

We integrated with Foundation to make payroll a breeze. Instead of manually entering time data, you can import Raken time cards right into Foundation’s accounting software. That means more efficient and accurate payroll processing.

5. Adding safety records to Daily Reports.

Saving your team time is always a priority. That’s why we added safety attachments to Daily Reports. Since all your safety and quality documentation is in one place, you can easily download and store everything together.

6. Launching Timesheet Approvals.

To further streamline payroll, we created Timesheet Approvals. Payroll teams can view, approve, and lock time cards in one place. With better control over payroll data, you can ensure time data is up-to-the-minute accurate.

7. Integrating with Deltek + ComputerEase.

Our integration with Deltek + ComputerEase improved payroll processing, too. All the time data you can import into ComputerEase is pre-formatted, meaning less errors from manual entry or double entry.

8. Interviewing J.W. Danforth about their Raken experience.

We were honored to talk with the John W. Danforth Company about their Raken experience. They needed a less manual way to assess labor and productivity—and support their field leaders. How’d they do it? Our real-time production insights.

Productivity is essential, so we made it a priority. We built Production Insights Trends to help you track, categorize, and compare cost codes over time. That way, you can see (and improve) productivity in real time.

10. Updating the mobile app home screen.

One of our most exciting updates this year was the new Raken mobile home screen. Being easy to use is always the goal, so we gathered all your field reporting tools (and photos) in one place. We also added a new look and feel for better workflows.

11. Partnering with Ryvit on our Sage 300 CRE + Vista integrations.

We partnered with Ryvit to streamline communication between Raken and your accounting systems. That means better field data and structured documentation in real time—and no more switching apps. Currently, we can integrate with Vista Viewpoint and Sage 300 CRE.

12. Hiring the most people in one quarter. Ever.

Our team grew a lot this year, and we’re proud. In fact, Q3 2021 was our biggest quarter for new hires in company history. Want to join us and empower the people who build? Check out our careers page for all open roles.

Once again, thank you.

A huge thanks to our customers, partners, employees, and everyone in between for making our year. We look forward to building even cooler things together in 2022!
